The satellite speakers are 2-way to enhance the highs of the sound.  The speaker set includes magnetic shielding to prevent the internal mechanisms from causing monitor distortion or destroying magnetic memory devices.  A frequency response of 32Hz-20kHz is delivered with a crossover frequency of 200Hz for the subwoofer and 12kHz for the satellites.  It has an input sensitivity of 200mV.
