The SRS-A212 are entry-level PC speakers from Sony's PC & Portable Speaker lineup and are an upgrade to the SRS-A201.  The speakers feature a larger 66mm driver than the SRS-A201 that provides a total power output of 3.6 watts.

  They include a built-in Mega Bass amplifier and offer a frequency response of 100Hz to 20 kHz.  The SRS-A212 have a modern and stylish design with a black chassis and a white speaker cone.  They also have a volume control and are magnetically shielded to avoid interference with the monitor.  The speakers include an auto power on/off function as well as dual analog inputs for connecting to both PC and DMP.  The SRS-A212 have a suggested retail price of $30 and come with a 1 year limited warranty.
