Sony HomeShare SA-NS300

The Sony HomeShare SA-NS300 is a mid-cost multimedia speaker. Sony promotes this speaker as having a compact (5 5/8" x 5 /5/8" x 4 7/8"), 360 degree directional speaker design that delivers room-filling, clear audio.

With integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), the SA-NS300 wirelessly streams digital music from DLNA enabled PCs. It can also stream BRAVIA Internet music services when connected to Sony Blu-ray Disc devices. You can control the tunes with the included remote control, or you can download the free iPhone/iPod touch/Android device app that allows you to use your device as a remote. The auxiliary input of the SA-NS300 allows you to plug in other music sources, such as MP3 players. This model differs from the higher cost SA-NS400 multimedia speaker in that the SA-NS400 is more powerful (with four two-way tweeters and a subwoofer built in, as opposed to the SA-NS300's one-way, one driver speaker system). The Sony HomeShare SA-NS300 multimedia speaker is equipped with Sony's PartyStream function, which allows you to put the same audio on all of your PartyStream devices at the same time.
