Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slim

$37.99 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Take up almost no desk space, footprint is minimal. Sleek and tall design that looks elegant. Wired remote is nice, volume knob has a good action on it.

The Cons:No warmth in the lower register, tends to sound boxy. Easy to knock them over, not well balanced. Mids are a bit washed out, need to turn the speakers up to understand people properly.

Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slim are a pair of low-powered satellite speakers. While only slightly more powerful than the Hercules XPS 2.0 35 USB, these are designed to optionally work as components of larger 2.1 or 5.1 speaker setups with later expansion.
