Creative Labs Inspire T6100

$80.00 Released December, 2006

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Powerful bass - perfect for movies and gaming. Good amount of power for the price.

The Cons:Bass - like most computer speaker systems - is too bloated and unrefined for music. Powerful LED is distracting - a common issue with computer speakers. No remote control (wired or wireless).

The Creative Labs Inspire T6100 is a 5.1 channel, multi-speaker multimedia system that includes five satellite speakers and one subwoofer with a 5.25” long-throw driver designed to deliver powerful bass.

An affordable and less powerful downgrade from the wireless GigaWorks G550W, the wired Inspire T6100 offers a much reduced peak power output of 135w (versus 620w) and nominal power output of 76w (versus 310w). In addition, the T6100 only includes an audio line-in input jack and headphone jack (it has no SPDIF input jack). Each speaker in the T6100, however, features both a hi-fi performance mid-range driver and tweeter (versus just a driver). Furthermore, the T6100’s speakers are divided into front speakers (2), rear speakers (2), and a horizontally mounted center speaker that work together to make movie dialogs become much clearer and more precise. The Creative Labs Inspire T6100 is priced at $79.99, a whopping $220 savings from the $299.99 GigaWorks G550W.
