The Creative Labs GigaWorks T40 are a pair of premium component satellite speakers designed to deliver spacious and balanced sound. An upgrade from the GigaWorks T20, each speaker in the T40 model includes two (versus one) high-performance midrange drivers and one dedicated high-end tweeter placed in an MTM (midrange-tweeter-midrange) configuration.

Nonetheless, the T40 maintains the T20’s 56w peak power output and 28w nominal power output, not to mention its audio line-in input jack and headphone jack. The Creative Labs GigaWorks T40 is priced at $149.99, $50 greater than its weaker predecessor, the T20. Chockfull of premium quality components such as dual woven glass fiber cone drivers, a cloth dome tweeter, easily maneuverable controls, and BasXPort technology, the T40 is cited as “truly delivering its promise of acoustic audio quality with a style that complements any setup.”
