Creative Labs GigaWorks T20
$100.00
Released November, 2008
The Pros:Slick aesthetic. Quality build. Easy to use buttons.
The Cons:Easy to tip over accidentally. Only 2.0 stereo - no subwoofer means low frequencies are weaker than one might expect. Bright light.
The Creative Labs GigaWorks T20 are a pair of true two-way speakers with a midrange driver composed out of high-tech woven glass fiber. A downgrade from the GigaWorks HD50, the T20 offers a reduced peak power output of 56w (versus 62w) and nominal power output of 28w (versus 36w).

The T20, however, includes both an audio in-line and a headphone jack (versus just an audio in-line jack). The T20 also includes an expressive tweeter in each speaker, not to mention BasXPort technology engineered to enhance low end sound by efficiently channeling sound waves from the speaker’s inner chamber to the soundstage. Configured to work with MP3/CD/iPod players, laptops, desktops, and home video entertainment systems, the Creative Labs GigaWorks T20 is cited as an affordable catch at only $99.99, versus $149.99 for the HD50.
