The Bose Companion 2 Series II is and upgraded version of the Companion 2. The sound and design have both been improved quite a bit. Theire build quality is very sturdy and they look quite sleek. However, as with most/all Bose products they are overpriced for what you get. The SQ is not acceptable for the price of the speakers. The bass overwhelms all other frequencies which makes for a very muddy sound signature. This does not mean that there is a very strong bass responce. Overall the SQ is mediocre in the best of circumstances. As mentioned befor though, they look quite good on a computer desk with their classic and elegant styling.
