They are powered by a USB connection so no additional wires are needed past the one connecting them to the computer. The speakers have a better range than most computer speakers on the market, with a deep bass that can go as low as 57Hz.

  The B&W MM-1 is built like a larger, pricer speaker system, with a tube-loaded tweeter that is the same that is in the B&W Nautilus tower speakers. Along with the sound quality the B&W MM-1 has additional features such as a pebble-shaped remote controller and a 3.5mm mini-jack for music players or other handheld devices.
