Altec Lansing VS1520
$30.00
Released November, 2008
The Pros:Relatively compact size and ability to work well vertically or horizontally makes these ideal for laptop use. Sound quality is greatly improved when paired with a subwoofer. Control knobs feel very smooth, allow for precise volume adjustment.
The Cons:The "on" indicator is bright enough to be annoying. The volume levels are disappointingly low. Sound quality is below par for this price range (tinny and bland).
