Altec Lansing BXR1220
$20.00
Released April, 2009
The Pros:Surprisingly clear sound considering the size. Capable of surprisingly loud volume output. Powered entirely through the USB port, reduces the number of cables you need to play with.
The Cons:Cord length means the speakers need to be near the computer, can't put them up on a shelf. Power indicator is bright and a bit distracting during late-night gaming sessions. Sound can seem a little washed out at times, low end is a bit muffled.
